Mason Dixon is a smart, streamlined quintet of talented players committed to frontman Mike Robertson’s vision of American songcraft. Based in Brooklyn and Manhattan, but with roots extending from the working class neighborhoods of New York all the way down to the Texas Panhandle, the Mississippi Delta, and those swamps back in Jersey, the group sits poised to unleash itself on the world with the long-delayed and much-anticipated release of Mason Dixon’s first bona fide full-length, Hurry Through The Night. Somewhere, the ghost of Johnny Cash is smiling. Somewhere, the rest of America is waiting to hear these songs.
